DEPOSITION SERVICES, INC. provides recording and transcription services for clients nationwide, primarily in the Washington, D.C. legal arena. Deposition Services is the market's industry leader, and sought to break away further from the pack by developing a brand to win the business of new customers, grow the loyalty of current customers, and set itself apart visually from competitors.
Identity The identity consists of the logo, logotype, the official Deposition Services color, and the various standards applied to these elements. The unification of these components was integral to establishing the consistent Deposition Services brand. Together they promote a unified Deposition Services with a clear, sophisticated, and professional image.
Logo. Used with all official Deposition Services communications to strengthen recognition and understanding of Deposition Services work. The logo symbolizes the order that Deposition Services synthesizes out of the chaos within the ever-expanding world of communications. The lines demonstrate the transition from more hurried and chaotic communications to the ordered, clear communications that is Deposition Services’ fundamental offering. The color communicates the energetic, vital approach Deposition Services applies to every aspect of its business. The enclosing circle represents Deposition Services’ grounded, tried-and-tested process.
Logo and color. The logo always appears in official color, or black and white. Consistency is necessary to building a recognizable identity. It is critical and not to be undervalued that a logo only appear in official color, or black and white, per the branding strategy.
Logotype. This logo can appear either by itself or with the logotype. The logotype was designed with the Livory Bold typeface. Livory Bold was chosen for its thick serifs, balanced character forms, modern, yet traditional appearance, cohesiveness with the logo, and openness. Its usage here is in modified form.
